ACPE Contact Hours
Two CMR Institute courses are recognized for credit by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE). As an accredited member of the ACPE, VCU School of Pharmacy will work with CMR Institute to provide contact hours (continuing education units) to participants.
Students who require CEUs through ACPE will be able to utilize CMR Institute coursework to meet those obligations. Upon successful completion of each of the evaluated courses, CMR Institute participants will receive the CEU’s noted below:
The following courses are recognized for credit:
Nutrition: Wellness and Disease — 9 CEUs
The Formulary Process--Managing the Pharmacy Benefit — 6 CEUs
How to participate
Enrolled students seeking recognized, distance-learning education to fulfill their continuing pharmacy education obligations should:
- Register for any course listed above
- Study the course and successfully complete the examination
- Complete the ACPE Credit Submission Form following the instructions on
page one - Submit the form and evaluation fee made payable to VCU SCHOOL OF PHARMACY to:

- NOTE: The ACPE Credit Submission Form and Evaluation Fee must be submitted within 3 weeks of completing the course
- CMR Institute will verify the information and forward to the VCU School of Pharmacy for recognition by ACPE
